Exam Details: National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) had vide Notification dated 23rd August, 2010 and 29th July, 2011 laid down the minimum qualifications for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher in classes 1 to 8. Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has offering notification against recruitment as a teacher for classes I to VIII through Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET). Eligible candidates need to apply online on 31 August 2012.About CTET: CTET or Central Teacher Eligibility Test, is an exam — by Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India — for Eligible Candidate, who want to teach in schools. CTET is a multiple choice question (MCQ) based test, and comprises of the following two papers: Paper 1: is for the candidates, who wish to teach classes I —V, Paper2: is for candidates, who wish to teach classes VI — VIII.
Exam Pattern: CTET Exam Pattern Details: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE)
conducts Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher for classes I to VIII. CTET consists of two papers. CTET Exam will be of objective type Multiple Choice Question (MCQ’s). There is no negative marking.
1. Paper I should be prepared for candidates who intends to be a teacher for classes I to V.
2. Paper II should be prepared for candidates who intends to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII.
3. A person who intends to be a teacher for both levels (classes I to V and classes VI to VIII) will have to appear in both the papers (Paper I and Paper II).
How to get the application Form: Eligible Candidates can apply online through CBSE website on or before 31/08/2012. After submission of Online Application candidates neet to send the print out of application by Registered or Speed Post on 07/09/2012.
Instructions for Online Application:
1. Log on to www.cbse.nic.in or www.ctet.nic.in to start the Online Application process.
2. Fill all the details carefully, check once for errors and click on Submit button.
3. Take print out of application form and send it to The Assistant Secretary (CTET) Central Board Of Secondary Education, A-1, Swasthya Vihar, Vikas Marg (Opp. Metro Pillar-76),New Delhi-110 092 by super scribing the name of the post on the envelope.
